Meet Your Photographer

Hey, I'm Laani

Living with late onset epilepsy, it’s caused a bit of havoc on my memory. Most mums can say they’ve got a bit of ‘mum brain’ so I’m sure you can understand the feeling of wanting to hold onto a moment just a little longer, so that it doesn’t slip away.

"The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do."

— Andy Warhol

We don’t have to pose at the beach if that’s not what your family enjoy doing. My favourite sessions are when we work together to find things that make your family unique and capture that. Let’s stomp in the mud, go to the arcade or bake cookies, some of my clients have even had water fights! I’m not here for perfectly posed photos. I will gently guide you so you look your best, but I want you to see the joy and love your family share.

Proudly photographing on Yuin Country, capturing stories along the South Coast from Wollongong to Bendalong

Most families walk away saying “That was actually so fun.” Even the hesitant partners. Even the overtired toddlers. You’ll feel relaxed and connected, maybe even a little surprised by how easy it all felt. My job is to see the real you and celebrate that.

Because time is slippery

One day it's tiny boots, the next it's car keys. Let’s catch it while we can.
