My pre-session guide has all my favourite spots to shoot at, but I also know some places are truly special to you. If you have a spot in mind, let’s chat and see what works. If you’re outside this zone, no worries, I’m always up for an adventure. A small travel fee may apply to cover my time.

Perfect!! That's exactly how it should be. Everyone feels awkward in front of the camera at first and kids? They’re meant to be wild. I’ll guide you with easy prompts, we’ll play some games, have a laugh and I’ll make sure you don’t look like a confused meerkat.

I want your kids to run, snack, explore and just be themselves. I’ll gently step in when needed, but mostly I’m there to capture the magic in the chaos. Snacks are welcome too, just maybe steer clear of raspberry on Nanna’s hand-knitted cardigan!

Wear what feels like you, but if you want the best results, timeless always wins. My editing style loves neutrals, earthy tones and texture. Think linen, chunky knits or even corduroy.

Skip the smart watches, bulky items in pockets and sunnies (unless they are a vibe). My pre-session guide includes styling tips to make it easy and your session fee also covers optional use of my client wardrobe. I also encourage you to send me a quick photo of everyone’s outfits together before the session, so we have time to make any adjustments if needed.

Some of my favourite sessions have been in the rain, with puddle jumping and wind in your hair making the best memories. But if the weather is truly awful (like wild winds or heavy rain), I will make the call to reschedule. For sunrise sessions, I will confirm the night before and for afternoon shoots, I will decide that morning. Weekends do book up quickly, so a little flexibility helps, but I will always do my best to find the next date that works for us both.
